Houbigant Quelques Fleurs
Nose: Robert Bienaime
Notes: green notes, orange blossom, tarragon, bergamot, lemon, citrus; lilac, jasmine, lily of the valley, rose, carnation, tuberose, ylang-ylang, violet, iris, heliotrope, orchid; oakmoss, honey, civet, musk, sandalwood, amber, vanilla, tonka bean
This is an extraordinarily pure, bell-like floral. Mostly lily-of-the-valley, I think. Definitely a maiden's perfume.
It's what I would have expected Diorissimo to be like -- but the real Diorissimo is lush and dripping with nectar and civet. Quelques Fleurs is sharp and clear. Something about it reminds me of my childhood.
It's more innocent and Victorian-nostalgic than I'd be inclined to wear regularly -- I'm not a maiden, after all -- but I do like it, and it might have been my favorite once.
