And maybe they can bring in some of the Jason actors to have speaking rolls or to consult on the character. Like Kane Hodder or Ken Kinzinger etc

I would argue that Freddy Krueger is in heaven.

It is established in the first movie that the parents of the neighborhood played vigilante and burned him alive while only suspecting that he was the one killing the kids.

If you are unaware, the Old Testament god is a strong and harsh god that doesn’t mess around.

I propose that Freddy was sent to heaven where god decided that Freddy’s reward for living a good life and being unjustly burned alive is to be the tool of his wrathful vengeance.  Freddy is actively sent to punish the families and their descendants for what the original parents did.

At the end of the movies when Freddy ‘loses’ it’s all part of the process.  Similar to how you must stop eating and become hungry again in order to enjoy your next meal, Freddy must have a reset point in order to enjoy his work acting out the will of his god.

So instead of being afraid of Freddy because he is some sort of twisted embodiment of evil I like to think that we should be afraid because he is a twisted embodiment of a wrathful god.
