Robert Falcucci was a French artist and illustrator who began his career in the advertising department at Renault. The Rallye Automobile de Monte-Carlo is an annual event organized by the Automobile Club de Monte Carlo, not as a race, but as a celebration of the advancements in automobile technology. It began in 1911 at the behest of Prince Albert I of Monaco in 1911. Drivers would begin their journeys at 10 different places around Europe and converge at Monte Carlo to celebrate the end of the event.
