Rob James-Collier in Girl in The Coffin July 25th, 2026
The fact that he’s the villain is reason enough to look forward to it.
Story time. I was thinking of new ways to draw Snape, and decided a good way to study his face would be by drawing a completely dissimilar face, so I drew my vision of Snape alongside Robert James-Collier. You know, big jaw, hooded eyes, straight brows, square forehead, next to a drawing of Snape with a thin jaw, unhooded eyes, arched brows, and a more softly angled forehead.
Imagine my horror when I opened Google to make sure I had drawn Rob James-Collier’s face correctly and discovered that someone on Reddit had made an AI image of his face fan casting him as Snape. I immediately closed out of the tab to take a breath.
It’s not even his face, really! The AI made his cheeks and lips thinner, and did something to the color of his eyes among other subtle changes. Obviously, the hair and suit are also fake. Cursed image. I’ve never been so irrationally furious and appalled. It’s really weird considering Snape is one of my favorite characters of all time, and so is Thomas Barrow.

The release date and details for *Girl in the Coffin* have been announced!
The Girl in the Coffin is due for release this year… I wonder if Rob is the lead? I’d be delighted if Season 2 of Cooper & Fry—which I imagine they’re filming right now—were to be released this year too!
