NostalJuly Day 2!
Did anyone else have a sizable phase in their childhood where they were completely obsessed with Neopets and more specifically this game? Neopets the Darkest Faerie for the ps2 was pretty much the only thing i thought about from like ages 9 to 12 and is still more important to me than i think would be advisable to admit?
Like im not saying this game was central to my development as an artist and a human being but i AM saying i found the portfolio website of the lead character artist for this game while looking up reference for this and i almost cried and im not completely sure why?
anyway, ill be the first to admit it’s not a GOOD game, but it did take the place in my life where mario and zelda would have been if i had grown up with nintendo consoles instead of a playstation, so take that for what you will.
