Randomly decided to check lostmediawiki for the ps1 version of the darkest faerie and surprised to see a bunch of stuff I hadn't seen yet since the last time I checked it

Such as this high res image from the 2003 Press Kit I'd never seen before, look there's poor Grimilix. There was also a document that confirmed that Grimilix was intended to be one of the playable charters along with Tormund and Sally

also a bunch of items an ui stuff. As far as I can tell most of the these ones weren't based on existing items, or at least I don't recognize any of the swords but that does look like sloth's cape lol

there were also a bunch of other ui concept caps that just show strait up a bunch of items strait from the site that are weird

NostalJuly Day 2!

Did anyone else have a sizable phase in their childhood where they were completely obsessed with Neopets and more specifically this game? Neopets the Darkest Faerie for the ps2 was pretty much the only thing i thought about from like ages 9 to 12 and is still more important to me than i think would be advisable to admit?

Like im not saying this game was central to my development as an artist and a human being but i AM saying i found the portfolio website of the lead character artist for this game while looking up reference for this and i almost cried and im not completely sure why?

anyway, ill be the first to admit it’s not a GOOD game, but it did take the place in my life where mario and zelda would have been if i had grown up with nintendo consoles instead of a playstation, so take that for what you will.

Dont make fun of me for this but I had a dream last night that they made a sequel to ntdf that was a musical and I know I only dreamt this because I binged watched centaurworld because Skarl sings the taur-nado song with slightly different lyrics and it was beautiful (because the taur-nado song is beautiful)

I remember playing this game a LOT as a kid. I know I played through the whole thing at least six times, with other incomplete playthroughs in between, So It holds a bit of a special spot in my memories.
