because im being autistic abt this show and ive only found One Guy to talk to about it

these are (naturally) mostly about travis and naomi! and because im a joe keery fan theres more about travis than naomi but i dont know how obvious that is !
also this is the happy version im working on an angsty headcanons list
- Travis is a mild slob who really wants to be a neat freak. he cleans his place like once every week or two and then in two days its a mess again
- Naomi likes to keep things tidy but doesnt mind a bit of mess + she has a stressful life and a small child. so her place is dirty in a lived in way, whereas travis' is dirty in a "havent had the energy to clean it again" way
- roberto and trini have unintentionally adopted these two young adults. they regularly call to check up on them and sometimes get together to talk about it all or just get food
- this is partially because travis has decided all three of these people do not have enough of a social life and he'll force them into one kicking and screaming
- travis is fucking amazing with sarah
- he becomes like her second favorite person ever. he ends up being her main babysitter when hes not working with naomi so she can get housework or homework done
- also he gets left alone at her place for one reason or another early on in their friendship and just gets so restless and anxious that he ends up cleaning the entire place
- she is both disturbed and grateful when she gets home
- naomi hates that he dogears books. genuinely hates it. every time she notices she (lightheartedly) yells at him for it and gets him a bookmark
- it gets to the point that she just buys a shit ton of bookmarks and keeps them all over the house so he can grab them instead of being like oh i dont wanna get up and hunt down a bookmark
- their cuddling is so weird because half the time its just her laying on top of him and the other half of the time they’re touching as much skin as possible and listening to each others heartbeats
- especially when theyre on the couch. he’ll be spread out and shes on top like a weighted blanket. sometimes sarah gets on top of them because she finds it delightful to be piled up like that
- theyre ALWAYS in one anothers personal space. travis asks naomi to look at something on his phone? he doesnt tilt it for her to see she just leans full into his space and pushes him slightly out of the way, putting half her body weight on him. and vice versa
- naomi bullies him for listening to that self help tape he listened to in the film at first and then when its obvious hes actually kinda upset about it she gets all soft and genuine and tells him she thinks its good he wants to heal and better himself
- travis’ car was named Bethany and he misses her so bad
- he fuckin loved that car. she was a piece of crap but if anybody dared insult her hed be peeved about it for hours and defend her with his life
- after the events of the main plot he tells naomi “man i miss bethany” and she gives him like a squinty look and asks who the hell bethany is and he just says “my car :(“ in the most pathetic ass voice youve ever heard
- travis and naomi REFUSE to get a job without the other, some illogical paranoia insisting something was gonna happen at their new place of work
- they insist on having the same shifts for a while until their emotions start to calm down and they can actually be separated for a while, and then they’ll sometimes take different/extra shifts if need be
- travis doesnt mind going by teacake, but he likes that naomi calls him travis. he doesnt know why. hes still learning how to think of himself as travis tho and usually introduces himself as “I’m Teacake. Or, uh. Or Travis.” afterwards
- naomi and travis keep each other afloat in a way neither of them knew they needed
- they remind each other to eat, drink water, take meds, get some sleep, get ready to leave for x y or z
- they slot into each others lives so perfectly
- travis has the loudest fucking footsteps ever. he has never had a reason to walk silently and therefore never learned.
- naomi, on the other hand, can and usually does walk super quietly. scares the fuck out of him all the time by magically appearing
- naomi really enjoys coloring and has a set of colored pencils and adult coloring books by the couch for when she feels the urge
- travis thinks its weird at first and then hes like ykw im bored ill join you. and has a great time
- he ends up buying markers though he doesnt enjoy the colored pencils as much
- the two of them make coloring nights where they put on a movie or tv and color with each other
