My Hero Academia question (manga 301): Do you think that Touya is a spoiled child? Despite the "abuse", why Endeavour doesn't tell to Shoto about Touya (from the very beginning) ? Perhaps Shoto need to understand the Touya's situation instead of blaming his father for his family misfortunes.
Yo why didn’t I see this until now. I’m so slow.
Anyway, no, I don’t think Touya is spoiled at all. He was Endeavor’s pride and joy at one point, but he was never spoiled.
I think it was too difficult for Endeavor to explain Touya to Shouto and I think Shouto was too young to understand at the time.
How do you explain to a 5 year old about his older brother’s mental breakdown? How do you explain the underlying causes of his accidental death? Especially while you’re still mourning, honestly I don’t see how Enji could’ve explained it to him at all.
Then... by the time he is old enough to understand, how do you bring it up? Natsuo says Shouto is practically a stranger to them due to his upbringing. Why would Shouto ask about his dead brother?
He knows he died in a fire, what more is there for him to ask? What motivates him to ask about it?
So yeah. That’s what I think about that, again I’m so sorry for answering so late!
