This article has a lot of interesting information. I started designing a new pivot system for fin boxes and realized, I probably don't know much about fins. I discovered a Robin Mair fin box system which was designed to change the cant of the fin, but not the angle of the fin, so I discovered this excellent link on surfboard fins and stuff.
