​yeah just read the Count To Three series, everything Grenegome ever wrote (the Twist and Shout series is so fun), and i mean if you WANT i did a huge re-write of the opening 'act' (nebulously the first few books) that spins off from One Event in the second book

how did izzy and lucius meet in how bout another first kiss?

I didn't need to come up with the answer to this one because @robinade made the prefect suggestion:

I can't help but imagine that perhaps in this scenario, Stede still manages to inherit the building that would have been the Revenge and instead of opening the bar, he turns the whole thing into a queer non-profit (run by someone not him, obvs). Maybe that's how some of the gang meet in this au; as volunteers?

So, as said in the previous question about this verse, Stede's father just assumes his son will get sick of pretending to be poor and come home. In the meantime, he's happy to see the back of him and maybe starts considering alternate heirs after a few years.

Too bad that a morning his father would've spent at Stede and Mary's house in the regular timeline, leaves him free to go on his boat instead. The accident is most unfortunate.

Stede's stepmother is still alive however, so she gets the bulk of the estate and his business associates get a lot of the business. Stede, who didn't even know his father was dead, gets a notification that he has inherited several valuable properties in the city. Including the one that would house, in other timelines, the Revenge. And yes, he turns it into a rental building for queer nonprofits, including a small movie theater on the main floor that shows independent films and such. There's even a stage behind the screen for live performances some nights.

You need a general manager for that sort of thing. Enter Lucius. Izzy, being the financial manager, goes into the theater once a month or so to reconcile everything, make sure payroll is accurate yada yada. He gets to know Lucius slowly, instead of abruptly and things grow fairly organically there.

it’s really good! I had a feeling I would enjoy it, but so much media about AI and robots is just..not enjoyable for me. But I can really understand not wanting to talk with people and just watch your shows. I’ve moved onto Artificial Condition.  Murderbot just keeps surrounding themselves with humans who just don’t have good self-preservation instincts.

I actually have three space heaters that all belong to my landlord (and one that belongs to me) -- I can only run two on the electrical in this house, though. (And I’m very glad that the electrical got updated last year, because if I had to deal with blowing fuses on top of this I’d be even more annoyed, but good news! I have a circuit breaker now!)
