Buy Queer Creations, Support Queer Causes: 2026 Story and Art Bundles for Charity!
HAPPY PRIDE! It’s time for our fourth-annual Pride Bundle charity drive! We’ve got three bundles this year: a general imprint bundle with 25 titles totaling 381 pages; an explicit bundle of 15 stories, 237 pages; and an art bundle with 10 artworks, 250 mb of digital artwork! In the first three years of this initiative, we’ve raised over $725 for the charities we’ve selected, and we’re delighted to be back, this time in an effort to raise money for the Queer Liberation Library ( @queerliblib ) and the Transgender Law Center.
The General Imprint Bundle costs $25 USD (60% off normal!). 40% of this sales price will be divided equally between the two charities.
The Explicit Imprint Bundle costs $15 USD (60% off normal!). 44% of this sales price will be divided equally between the two charities.
The Art Bundle costs $10 USD (66% off normal!). 24% of this sales price will be divided equally between the two charities.
How This Works
You buy one or both bundles between now and June 30th, 2026.
We tally up all the proceeds earned and do some math-e-magic to figure out how much we’re donating!
Before the end of July, we divide our total raised amount in half and donate equal amounts to the Queer Liberation Library and the Transgender Law Center.
We post the proof that we’ve made the donation (you can see past proof here, here, and here.)
You get fantastic stories!
We all get that happy, glowy feeling of knowing that money has been well-spent on fantastic causes!
About the Press
Duck Prints Press is a queer-owned indie press, founded to publish original works by fancreators. We’ve been in operation for over 5.5 years, and in that time we’ve worked with well over 150 creators to publish ten anthologies and over 200 other stories, from shorts to novels, and we’ve got more on the works (five anthologies in progress, multiple novels slated for the later half of 2026, an art project, and more). The vast majority of our creators and their creations are queer/LGTBQIA+ (maybe even all, but we don’t out anyone and we don’t ask demography because, frankly, it’s none of our business).
About Our Selected Charities
Note: These charities are not affiliated with the Press, do not know we’re doing this fundraiser, have not endorsed this in anyway and are, as such, utterly uninvolved in this beyond being the beneficiaries of our efforts! Text is from their webpages.
The Queer Liberation Library: “Queer Liberation Library (QLL) is fighting to build a vibrant, flourishing queer future by connecting LGBTQ+ people with literature, information, and resources that celebrate the unique and empowering diversity of our community.”
The Transgender Law Center: “Transgender Law Center is the largest national trans-led organization advocating self-determination for all people. Since 2002 we’ve been organizing, assisting, informing and empowering thousands of individual community members towards a long-term, national, trans-led movement for liberation.”
About the Bundles
We are offering three bundles: general imprint stories, with 25 works; explicit imprint stories, with 15 works; and art, with 10 works. The shop listings include details about and excerpts from all the stories and previews of all the art. Purchasing book bundles gets you access to the e-book (in ePub and PDF formats) of each title included in the bundle. Purchasing the art bundle gets you access to high-quality print-ready images, sized to print clearly at 8.5 in x 11 in (21.6 cm x 27.9 cm) (FOR PERSONAL USE ONLY!). Here’s what you’ll get!

Hi!
Win conditions lives rent free in my head, and i especially cant stop thinking about the video of Ilya and Bren from chapter 3. I've been thinking about making an animation of my interpretation of what that would look like, and I just wanted to ask 1, if that's something you'd be okay with, and 2, if you had an idea of what Bren looks like in your 'verse, to give me an idea of how to draw him
Your fics are incredible! <3
OMG, I would LOVE that! <3 That you even want to try makes me very happy.
I'm actually milldly face blind so I don't tend to do face casts for anyone, but I think of Bren as a few inches shorter than Ilya, built very sturdy and with thick messy dark hair. Squarish jaw. Constantly has some dark stubble because it grows in really fast. And a very kind face, whatever that means to you!
it's midnight on the 1st of june aest
posting this again cause now its actually true
Happy Pride!
Every pride, you must reblog this. No exceptions
I love that four different people on my feed scheduled this joyous person to reblog by 8am on June 1. I look forward to seeing this a dozen more times today.
Fic Posted: Call and Response (1/1)
Heated Rivalry and Game Changers series. Spoilers for The Long Game. Mature. One-shot. 3k. Shane/Ilya. Ilya POV.
They talk now, about everything and nothing at all.
Excerpt:
Ilya tried to keep his face neutral. Apparently it was going to be his favorite kind of dinner conversation with Shane: bizarre and unexpectedly philosophical. One of those conversational meanderings Shane took them on that re-arranged Ilya's brain for a bit.
"Explain," Ilya said, leaning forward.
"I'll try, I'm not sure I even know what I mean," Shane said with the tiny considering frown that made him look delightfully serious. "Okay, do you have favorite color?"
🔮What's your favorite plot twist you've ever written?
So glad I got a second crack at this because my second favorite (I don't know if it's a twist so much as a reveal) is Lucius' dad lore drop like five minutes before the end of Ledaverse! Still quite proud I sat on that one for as long as I did.
🙋♀️
This is the closest I could get to the emoji of the “favorite season” emoji lol
What is Pencil!Verse Tyrion’s favorite season? Or Yara’s?
ooooh good one. I think Tyrion hated summer for a long time because of what it reminded him of, but by the time the first story ends, he's come to love it again. (trying not to spoil for those who have not read it). I think summer is also Brienne's favorite and Tyrion is charmed by her love of the water.
Yara likes the spring because she can get back on her ship and do her work, but it's cool enough to wear her very awesome leather duster.
hello! I'm so intrigued by your answers for the writer ask game.
I picked the following for you if you feel so inclined:
🤷♀️🔮🦉
thanks for all you do! 🖤
<3 You got it!
🤷♀️What’s a fic you didn’t expect to be popular, but really took off?
Previous to this year I would've said the murder mystery Zootopia fic I wrote in a fugue state. But uh, I think there is no way in any realm I could've imagined how popular Change Your Win Conditions was going to be. It now how has double the hits of my next most popular story (which is a Destiel story that has had 14 YEARS to accumulate hits instead of five fucking months). It's literally insane. I'm so glad folks love it so much and I was wholly unprepared.
🔮What’s your favorite plot twist you’ve ever written?
I just stared into space figuring out how to share it without spoiling the story. Between the Shadow and the Soul is a Supernatural story that's Sam/Castiel for once. They are stuck in purgatory and Sam is a very unreliable narrator.
🦉Is there another author that helped inspire you to write?
So many! From fanfic world @internerdionality's tenacious community building and kindness as well as their great writing has totally changed my fandom experience and introduced me to some other really lovely fandom friends. Just talking to @gentleranium makes me a better writer, but also their stories are tremendous. I've known @museaway since I was a little teenage fanficcer and her thoughtfulness about writing always makes me try to be more mindful.
From traditional writing world, Clive Barker is one of my biggest influences (yes, in my personal reading, I'm very into horror). I love his prose and the queerness that saturates everything he writes, even ostensibly het relationships. Imajica is my favorite.
Becky Chambers is the writer I want to be when I grow up. I think of her books often, the theme of kindness and mellow bittersweetness is a tone I often try to emulate.
Last summer I also binge read almost everything by Robert Jackson Bennett and that really fueled me on a huge writing binge right after. His world building is incredible and he's a male writer that does really incredible female characters. The Divine City trilogy was my favorite, but they're all freakin' great.
...I could go on about books forever. Okay. Stopping here.
🏡&🎵!
🏡What is your perfect writing environment?
I like to write on my couch at home with my laptop and a full water cup (90% of the time I have forgotten to fill my water and keep meaning to get up, but do not). If I'm feeling extra, I light a candle. Earl gray scented is a favorite, but I picked up a Record Shop one that smells like a hippie store that I like too.
🎵Do you make playlists for your fics?
I don't! I don't really listen to music while I'm writing, I actually find it pretty distracting. I do listen to music when I'm out walking/plotting, but it's usually a Daily Discovery playlist on Tidal, so I can't take credit for the choices.
🥘
🥘What wip are you most excited about?
Ha! Love that this got asked twice because now I can also say that I'm having fun hanging out with Carter Vaughn (next Win Conditions POV).
for the fanfic ask game :)
🛌 What's a trope you haven't written, but want to? 🌷What's one of your fics that isn't as popular, but you hold dear? 🥘What wip are you most excited about?
Thanks for asking!
🛌: I'm going to be so for real with you, I'm struggling to think of one! I've been writing for twenty years and I'm not sure there's any trope that I want to write that hasn't gotten written yet. I re-visit a lot of my faves and I've explored ones that I never thought I'd do. I do have a vague alpha4alpha idea for HR, but I have written omegaverse before.
🌷: Several! I've written in a lot of small fandoms, so full well knowing they wouldn't get much attention. I wrote a duology in a slightly canon divergent Mad Max world that I really love (it's Max/Furiousa/Jack) skillfully curled
🥘 In this very second, chapter 3 of Brick by Brick! But they are all my children, so it's mostly dependent on which one I just put words on.
Writer Ask Game:
🙌 🦗⏳
🙌What’s a line or paragraph of yours that you’re proud of?
Why now when John wasn’t an undiscovered country at all, but a neighborhood that Brian knew so well? - When the Screws Fall Out, The Breakfast Club Brian/Bender
🦗Do you write in sequence or jump around?
I write a story from start to finish in the order it will be read. I tend to write 'towards' a scene. I don't write down an outline though I do sometimes have a scaffolding in my head. I try to write really character led so even if I had a pre-planned direction, but it no longer feels like a choice that character would make when I get there, I will absoutly change direction.
⏳If you could go back in time and tell your younger writer self something, what would it be?
Be less afraid of engaging with the fanfic community because it's the most rewarding part! Make friends, chat when you can, and leave more comments.
🌷
🌷 I'm so happy this one got asked twice because I do have more fic that I hold dear that aren't 'popular' ( I put in quotes because the real issue is that these are fairly small fandoms, so there's no real comparison to a larger fandom fic).
Candela Obscura: Needle & Thread - Memory Persisting post-canon Jinnah is haunted by Sean and Marion.
Dimension 20: Cloudward Ho- You'll Find the Bright Places This one is mostly a character study of Montgomery, pairing him with a lot of the crew members.

wow that wasn't even close.
good thing I already wrote the first 1k last night before I fell asleep. ;)
I just wanted to thank you for putting me on to ellipsus! Have been trying to find a solid google doc alternate for a while now and am just so happy with the interface and the tools ! Have been reccing it to my writer friends as well :)
yay! I love that. Just as FYI for folks who are considering switching, unlike google docs, you can just cut and paste ellipsus into the rich text editor on AO3 and it keeps all your formatting.
My only issue with it right now is the collaboration is a bit rough so if you work with a co-writer or a beta, it may not be for you yet. It is still in progress though so we may see some improvement over the coming months.
I did a beta with Ellipsus and it was a little less convenient than GD or Word, but also safer (make a copy of a doc to put comments in)
Yes! It is doable. I'm just a bit lazy and having to make the changes in one version while looking at another makes me a bit grim (I don't like to change them in the second version for my own weird little reasons that don't make any sense).
