I think Entry Point MC/Sparrow/Freelancer has a lot of angst potential. And I like to believe they're trapped in hell after the Black Dusk. Sure, something supernatural would be very unbelievable for FPS/Stealth game, but you know, I like psychological stuff as the Nightmare Assault in The Killhouse means about how Freelancer's sins will never go away as it was like hell for them back then, and still it is now.
But when Jackdaw visited the grave during Halloween Event 2020, Freelancer finally moved on because they did something right for once after Jackdaw told that they did great job.
Yes, the angst is about Freelancer wanting to do something right after they and Harvey killed Dmitry and Jade. I mean that's why they chose to leave/kill Harvey after all. And the ending is all about whether they've done something right in the life they will never have justification on their actions.
After all, they are terrible people. (I love them though)
