Hey, you want to hear something like nothing you’ve heard?
How about off-beat LCD Soundsystem-style shouted vocals + Bowie-style rhythm sax + growling electric bass + crazy percussion. Correct? Correct!
This might be the most perfect three minutes of your life.
Have fun working out the time signature. No, really. If you work it out, please include it in the comments section. It keeps slipping away from me when I try to count it out.
Update 4 January 2016: A music-intensive friend of mine called Pete cracked it:
“It's a 2 bar thing. A 4/4 followed by a 9/8. The "lump" is the extra half beat in the second bar. Snare on beats 2 and 4 in the first bar and off beat in the second. You could think of the first beat in the second bar being a half beat longer than the first beat in the first bar.”
