Of course! Although I should have said ideas instead of au's but anyway:
Rapunzel only has kelceon (pascal ) at first when she's in the tower, and when she returns to the castle she befriends a smeargle and an eevee which evolves into an espeon. Also !! She doesn't keep her pokemon in pokeballs cause she wants them to feel free.
Cass team: Hoothoot (owl) , Corviknight, Honedge/Aegislash, umbreon (to match with raps cause I can't resist the sun moon symbolism ) Owl kinda just comes and goes as he pleases like in canon
Eugene with a Thievul and having to stop his pokemon from stealing and winding up in awkward situations with the captain / king . He may also have a Honchcrow (dark kingdom ref)
Reason why they don't have a full team is cause they don't really need one. In the pokemon world only trainers have teams, Its kinda like in the movie where everyone has just one partner pokemon
Fidella- Mudsdale
Max - Rapidash (fire cause I want fidella to be strong against him because facts.)
Hamuel - Murkcrow
Ruddiger - galar zigzagoon
