This is a fairly heavy piece. I'm trying to figure out how to display her. debating on a shadow box or if I should try to wire her to an empty frame or if I should put it on a canvas, though she may be too heavy for a canvas. This is supposed to be my robot mermaid but she is technically made fully of upcycled items. Even the wire and her hair I found on my walks in St Petersburg Florida. Depending on how I display her and depending if she ends up being a robot mermaid versus a found-object mermaid, two different categories, I may add battery operated lights. If anyone has suggestions on how to display her please let me know. The latest additions where the arms and the fins.
