That’s okay. I’m going back to answer this without looking at your answers because I don’t want to be influenced!

3. Who proposed?

Elijah is more of the proposing type. I just can’t see Daneel proposing. But I honestly would rather believe they came to a quiet, mutual agreement to be engaged and later married, without the bold declarations of love that proposals seem to involve. They don’t need to propose- If they both want to get married, it’s just a matter of a conversation.

5. Who has secretly written dozens of terrible poems about the other, and keeps doing so in the hopes of someday producing something worthy of showing their spouse?

Elijah, definitely. He hides the poems very carefully and is kind of embarrassed to look at them, but also really determined in producing that masterpiece. I don’t see Daneel as being a writerly type. He expresses his love in more subtle ways.

6. After agreeing not to get each other anything for Valentine’s Day, who gives the other a sweet gift anyway?

I don’t know why I wanna say Daneel, but I wanna say Daneel. I’ll formulate some more thoughts on that later.

7. Who gets more excited about making vacation plans?

Depends on where they’re going! I imagine both can be excited for different places.

It’s a deal!

1. Who initiates cuddling after a stressful day?

Dors cuddling Hari when he’s doing his stressed “screaming” is adorable. But if they were both stressed it’s probably a mutual decision.

2. Who tries to correct the other’s pronunciation?

Dors is probably more vigilant about it. I feel like Hari wouldn’t care as much about that. It’s not really a big deal though.

3. Who proposed?

Hari. He might have beaten Dors to it. (I’m trying to work out a headcanon that I like, actually.)

4. Who forgets to check their holomessages for hours on end, sending the other into an unnecessary panic?

HARI, when he is knee-deep in Math and loses track of time. Dors would definitely go try to find him and see what’s up.

5. Who has secretly written dozens of terrible poems about the other, and keeps doing so in the hopes of producing something worthy of showing their spouse?

Both of them hehehehe. Dors occasionally, Hari a lot. I feel like Dors is a slow writer and Hari is a fast one. I wonder if she came across his and thought it was cute but decided not to say anything.

Both of them! It’s a rather humorous surprise.

7. Who gets more excited about making vacation plans?

Dors. She likes to sightsee, especially in areas of historical significance. If they lived in our time and place they might tour a lot of mansions or something.

8. Who diligently makes sure the house is locked up at night?

Dors. And if the circumstances are really extreme I suppose she could sit by the doors (haha, Dors) with her knives all night, watching for intruders. She’s the best security guard.

So. Here's my recording for the pronunciation meme. Some of these characters I've never read about, so this was my first time working out how their names actually sound. (For example, when I read "Raych" I wanted to put a hard German-esque "ch" sound at the end, but I realized that sounds a little overdramatic with my accent.)
