I had a bunch of really shitty dreams last night but there was one that was just plain egoistic and hilarious.

It was about a video that I somehow came across on youtube in my dream. It was advertising a Fallout 4 mod which was essentially made of stolen models and scripts and other ripped-off assets, hacked together as the creator’s own story with their own characters. Of course, as it often is with thieves, they weren’t creative enough to completely rewrite the stories they stole so Buttons was still a sniper with a similar personality (though an android? I did find people trying to RP him as a robot before irl!) and Alexis was still his sister (not sure where they got her facerip from though?). The only cosmetic changes they did -beside awful modded clothing - was making Buttons’ hat a weirdly comical size (????????) and making Alexis’s head look like a sad matchstick.

Also I’m pretty sure Buttons’ new name was Kyle, thanks for that, @robotsandsodapop‘s mom from over 4 years ago!

Okay, I’ll keep that in mind! When I made this blog I thought YEAH OKAY I’m GONNA BE SUPER PROFESSIONAL HERE... but I’ve have had to slow work on this project over the last few months due to changing jobs, so I’ve been short on complete screenshots to show. :( Not to say work hasn’t been being done--at absolute minimum, I put in about 3 hours of work a week into coding and map-building alone, and I recently polished off the list I had of every incomplete feature and minor bug that needed to be attended to before story implementation could progress. But I’ve not had much time to work on tilesets, so most maps still look unfinished even if all the code works.

Honestly though I don’t know why I thought that posting polished screenshots only would be better than posting amusing glitches I encounter while debugging and map-building screenshots showing that I posed two dogs to look like they’re sniffing each other’s butts.

Something that makes my muse happy

Finishing something complex/that took a long time to do. It isn’t enough for her to just build things, she wants to feel like she learned and accomplished something when she’s finished.
