I know Robert and Aaron canonically reunited on October 1st, but November 6th feels like their true reunion to me. Their October reunion scene was so lackluster and seemed like a set up for an inevitable breakup and future epic reunion, which it kind of was.
Their November reunion felt more earned and meaningful because it had the build up, tension, and honesty that October lacked. There weren't massive secrets and lies between them because Aaron knew about Kev, which made it easier for me to root for and believe in their reunion.
All their November 6th scenes were incredibly romantic from Robert writing his wedding 2.0 speech and Aaron reciting it back to him by memory to the mutual I love you. And their reunion had passion with the "he isn't me, he isn't you" kisses and Aaron ripping open Robert's shirt, as well as meaningful callbacks with "you know, i know" and "messed up forever”.
Also, I think Robert and Aaron felt more like themselves because their insane love for each other and codependency were on full display. I mean, only they would walk to Robert’s vow renewal ceremony together and proceed to reaffirm their commitment to each other…by essentially having their own vow renewal outside the church.
Plus, there were so many great and memorable moments in the November reunion that I’ve rewatched it multiple times, while I rarely return to the October 1st episode. And I'm not saying that the October reunion doesn't count because it does; it's just that when I think about Robron reunions, I'll immediately think of April 2016, February 2018, and November 2025.
