Walk Through Hell With You || Robvee
Vee was restless. And frustrated. And sad. And hurt.
Everything had blown up—because of her. Because she had been too flustered and surprised and panicked to even consider lying to Ashley in Rome, her family was hurting. It would be one thing if it was just her life that was going to hell, but it was her parents and brother too! They’d just gotten comfortable in Swynlake—they had friends, a thriving business, and they had become part of the community.
Because of her. It was unforgivable, really.
And now there was not just one petition, but two targeting their family specifically, aiming to take away everything they’d worked hard for and had earned honestly. It was discrimination, really.
Vee needed to talk to someone—she wanted to talk to Robbie, but hesitated, if only because he’d been so upset since Nemo had been forced to break up with him. Another casualty of her foolishness. It couldn’t wait any longer though. If she didn’t get her thoughts out, she was going to burst.
Pausing at his door, she hesitated only a moment before knocking—a sure sign that she was nervous about the reception she’d receive. She usually just barged in unannounced. “Robbie?” she called quietly through the door, her voice sad and barely above a whisper. “Can—can I come in? Please?”
