her parents, arnett and caroline fontaine, are two french wizards from old money. at eighteen they married and decided they wanted to travel the world. zara is the name of a woman they met when they were traveling the east and became good friends with. they had their daughter who they named after her when they were only twenty.
zara ended up tagging along with her parents, of course, and when she was three her little brother was born. when she was seven and he was four, her parents finally decided to settle down in england.
she's very smart!! she loves to read just for fun tbh and she memorizes all these facts and then spouts them out whenever and confuses people. zara just likes school tbqh and people make fun of her for bringing books everywhere but *~yolo~*
zara is loyal to a fault and hates it. like she wishes she could tell her friends to shut up and screw off but she could never bring herself to do that and she hates that about herself. she sticks by them even when she wants to kill them.
but she actually does have quite a lot of friends just bc when she doesn't have her nose in a book she's actually pretty outgoing and also she tries her best to help her friends with school without giving them answers (not that that always works) so people like her sometimes idk
she's in some kind of on/off relationship with linus duke and she actually loves him but wants to kill him also idk it works out.
he's a musician and she goes to all his shows unless she has class (she physically cannot skip class like her legs won't go) and when they're broken up she drags a friend along to sit in the back with her and complain about what a douchebag linus is and they leave early because she is loyal to a fault did i mention that
i don't know how much she gets around when she's not with him but i'm sure she's like gotten as far as kissing with guys and then been like NOPE IT'S NOT HAPPENING I CHANGE MY MIND BYE bc she's a bitch yep
basically she's this outgoing girl who's very confident about her intelligence and will have ur back (even if she doesn't want to)
