How did you decide on the certain ships for your characters? And who's your favorite oc/favorite ship with one of your ocs 💙💜💙💜💙💜
Gabelle/Chad: I kind of touched on them in a prior post, but for the most part it was just that their personalities really fit each other! Chad is selfish and that was what Gabelle was used to growing up so she’s always been drawn to more selfish guys. She also kind of teaches him that a girl can do whatever a guy can do (she flat out forces him to let her play tourney and he hates to admit she’s better at it than him), and he teaches her that sometimes being girly isn’t so bad! (He gets her a dress she refuses to admit she loves but she wears it whenever she can).
Rochella/Clay: Basically what happens here is the stereotypical good girl/bad boy sort of thing. Clay always liked Rochella-he thought she was cute because she never left the house in anything but a nice dress with her hair done well and makeup done perfectly. She always kept up appearances, but she wasn’t one to be messed with. Rochella always liked Clay because he was tough, she was always attracted to the boys who were tough and had muscle (she secretly had a crush on all three of Gaston’s son’s but she knew Gabelle wouldn’t be happy with that so she never acted on it). Their relationship is fairly superficial but they’re both really protective of each other because they do care for each other a lot, they just don’t know how to show that they care.
Holly/Audrey: Holly is such a closet girly girl it isn’t funny! She loves makeup but she never wears it on the Isle, and upon meeting Audrey she teaches her how to properly do her make up so the two of them started off as best friends. Holly shows Audrey how to kind of dress like a villain since Audrey has shown multiple times that she enjoys VK wear, so Holly helps her out there. The two just kind of match, kind of similar to Gabelle and Chad. Holly, however, is much nicer than Audrey (even though she herself can be pretty dang selfish), and she teaches Audrey that not all VK’s are inherently evil. The both of them just kind of developed crushes on each other over time so it was a gradual process that they both really grew to care and love each other ♥
Gabriella/Gil: Oh the sweethearts ♥ They’re both just so sweet, they had to be together! Gabriella is the typical good girl, she never has done anything wrong in her life and she follows the rules. She’s super nice like her mother and she just is an overall nice person. Gil shows her how to rebel a little bit, he’s the one who originally gets her to sneak out. Gabriella needed someone to help her not be such a goodie two shoes all the time without being a total bad influence, and Gil was that for her. He would respect her boundaries while still pushing the envelope to see just what she would be comfortable with. However, their relationship did cause a lot of strain with Gabelle/Chad (if you all want me to go into more detail with that I’d be happy too!) so that in turn put a lot of strain on their own, but they always got through it because Gabriella is really good at handling conflicts while Gil just kind of shuts down and storms off. Basically, they’re just two cuties trying to be happy and it works out great for them ♥♥♥
As far as my favorite ship…It’s probably a tie between Gabelle/Chad and Gabriella/Gil! They both have such interesting qualities in their ships, but I always lean a bit more for Gabriella/Gil! ♥
