A/N: Alright, can't do a femslash February without the ship that was part of bringing my girlfriend and I together.I'm not actually really that happy with this but this is what came out when I started to write so here it is.

It was a beautiful day which was pretty rare considering they were in England and it was winter. Brigitte and Fareeha had signed the lease for their first home together and today was the day they were moving in. Neither of them owned a lot of stuff, but Brigitte had gotten some of her things from Sweden and Fareeha pretty much had only a duffel bag with some clothes and other items. She had been part of the Egyptian army until last summer. She had lived with some friends and stayed a couple nights with her mom until Brigitte asked her to come to Gothenburg with her. They lived there in their summer cabin until it became too cold and then they went to Brigitte's parents. They had been apartment hunting for the past four months.

They had made a road trip out of driving to their new home. It was just the two of them but some family was gonna come and see their new place and help set things up a bit later.

"Okej, that was the last box," Brigitte said after she placed said box on the floor of their tiny apartment. She turned to look at her girlfriend, "You wanna order pizza or something?"

"Always thinking about food. But no. I was thinking we could go to IKEA and eat there. Though you wanna eat and then look for some furniture. Your dad and Reinhardt are coming tomorrow so they could help us put everything up then."

Fareeha moved to hug Brigitte from behind as they watched out of the window of their apartment.

"Sounds good to me. But shouldn't we unpack some things before?"

Brigitte reached behind her head and ran her fingers through Fareeha's hair. Fareeha kissed her wrist and then her neck.

"Well the bed is in the bedroom as well as the box with pillows, duvet, sheets and all that. Pretty sure that's all we'll need today."

"So we'll just go to IKEA and sleep rest of the day, that's your plan?"

"That's not what I said."

"Oh! Oh… We'll need to go grocery shopping too before any shenanigans you're thinking about."

"You're no fun."

"I'm just trying to be practical! Are you gonna go running to the grocery store during the morning before I wake up then? You know how I'll be before I have my breakfast. Speaking of that, we should probably go. I'm actually hungry so…"

"Alright, let's go."

“Has anyone ever told you how much of a cheat you are?” Brigitte says, leaning back against her chair and crossing her arms over her chest as she glares at Fareeha. Fareeha only snorts and grabs for the cards, reshuffling them and pretending that she doesn’t notice Brigitte watching her even closer than before. Fareeha had to be cheating, she’d one every round since they’d started, it didn’t matter that Brigitte hadn’t seen her cheat.

“You’ve always been a sore loser.” Fareeha says, making a show of bridging the cards before she sets them back on the table. “It’s good to see that that hasn’t changed.” She doesn’t wait to see if Brigitte is pouting at her or if she wanted to play another round, she deals the cards out just as quickly as she had in the last round, looking up and grinning at Brigitte as she sits back. “I’ll let you go first this time.”

It’s a challenge if Fareeha had ever laid one out in front of her and Brigitte takes the bait, picking up her cards too quickly and nearly dropping them as she watches Fareeha’s face for any kind of tell. There’s nothing staring back at her besides that look that makes Brigitte think Fareeha knows something she’s not telling. Usually, that would be enough to make Brigitte even more suspicious, but then something pops into Brigitte’s head and she can’t be bothered to pull back the grin that spreads across her face.

“What do you say we make all this cheating you’re doing worth the trouble?” Keeping her cards in one hand, Brigitte taps them on the table and holds up her face with the other hand, refusing to look away from Fareeha’s face even for a second.

“I’m not cheating, you’re just bad at playing cards.” Fareeha isn’t looking at Brigitte when she says it, but she looks up right after, her own cards held loosely upright in her hand. “How are you planning on making this worse for yourself?” Fareeha had meant to be sneaky about looking up at Brigitte, but the second she meets her eyes Fareeha looks away again. She knows what that look means, that look means trouble if she’s ever been in it.

“Just a few rounds of strip poker.” Brigitte says, leaning in as though she were getting ready to tell Fareeha a secret. “Unless you’re too much of a scaredy cat.” She lays down her own challenge, grinning like a prideful cat as she sits back down in her chair. She didn’t know if Fareeha would take her bait or not, but Brigitte still watches her face, expecting Fareeha to blush and tell her to forget it.

Fareeha’s face stays still and the only tell Brigitte can get is watching her eyes widen quick before she forces them back to normal. “I didn’t know you were that eager for me to get you out of your clothes.” Brigitte is the first one of them to drop the act, snorting and looking away before she comes back to kick Fareeha under the table.
