Now I'm just wondering if Sage has a similar situation to Knuckles, where it's her duty to protect the islands from people who might bring them harm or destruction. Like I don’t know how she would know about Sonic but she clearly thinks he's a danger to those around him, so like maybe she saw Sonic come onto the island and was like "GET YOUR CHAOTIC, DISRUPTIVE LITTLE HANDS OFF THESE GODDAMN RUINS!"

XD. Sage and Knuckles have one thing in common to bond with, making sure Sonic doesn't ruin or accidentally destroy their island home(s) cause he’s like a full dynamite set ready to explode whenever he sniffs out a new adventure. /j

Can I ask more about your Rise AU with the Future Mikey? like, is there a background/backstory as to why Mikey's the only turtle left in the future? I wanna know details!!

Sure! oh boy, never really expected anyone to be interested lol

Discovering and knowing more abt Mike’s backstory was a thing that the boys were never rlly going to know fully, especially little mikey. But it’s basically what you would expect: something broke loose in the future, they weren’t able to stop it and just got worse and worse, ending one by one the members of the family, leaving only Mike behind (and Donnie, but he was basically dead when Mikey time traveled to the past). There’s not much detail about it since it wasn’t planned to be a thing to be told. Got the idea around the same time The Last Ronin came out, so there’s a lot of influence from it. 

He really misses his family, he just will never be ready to talk about it with their younger selves, too shitty. (or anyone, really)
