Hm. This is a difficult question to answer concisely.
Sometimes, I'll be listening to music idly, perhaps while eating with Miss Opal or tending to chores in the stadium, and I'll need music to help me focus but that won't distract from the moment at hand. In those cases, I might like jazz, or something classical... something smooth and calm. All the better if it prominently features string instruments. I greatly enjoy anything orchestral.
At other times, I might be listening more actively. One doesn't raise a Hatterene up from a Hatenna without figuring a few cheap ways to calm themselves down. In those cases, I like electronic music that I can turn up loud and that has many layers I can focus on and pick apart. To drown out my thoughts, I suppose, and help me guide my attention elsewhere. A driving and interesting baseline is an easy way to grab my attention.
I try not to listen to anything... sickly sweet in subject matter.

I'm not going to spend very much time on this one. It's clear she has nothing to offer me, and I've nothing to offer her. At a certain point, her chatter becomes nothing more to me than a Wurmple wriggling pathetically to draw others' attention-- the only moves at its disposal being String Shot and Poison Sting. And, like the steel type expert that I am, I will shake off the Poison Stings she delivers without a second thought and continue on my merry way.

(*It's a large box decorated in wrapping paper that could only be described as obnoxious. Neon colored versions of several Fairy Type Pokemon decorate the outside, shining with holographic colors when moved in the light.*)
(*Inside are several items that are individually wrapped carefully in sparkly pink tissue paper.*)
(*The first item is vintage looking portable cassette player with a cassette tape already inside, along with brightly colored pink and blue wired headphones that connect to it. Upon taking out the cassette tape, in neat, but bold handwriting, it says "BEDE BIRTHDAY BOPS".*)
(*The next item is a medium sized makeup pouch with little chibi Hatenna decorating the outside. Inside is a collection of pastel makeup items that all seem to be fairly good quality. These items include: A blue pencil eyeliner, a small eyeshadow pallet with a collection of rainbow shimmers, a highlighter that looks holographic when applied, and mascara that's colored a dark blue.*)
(*The last item is a t-shirt. Upon opening up the t-shirt, a very colorful design is revealed. The colors are very bright and pastel, showcasing a Sylveon in a graffiti artstyle. Despite the bold design and color choices, it seems to have been made with Bede in mind.*)

The cassette tape I made myself!! I picked out some songs ya might like, but no sweat if they aren't yer vibe. I also remember you wearin' some o' the makeup ta my concert that I got ya before. So here's some more!! And a little carrier for it all now too!! The t-shirt is what I'm most worried about, if I'm bein' honest. See, I dabble in some graffiti art here an' there, and wanted ta try makin' a clothin' design with it. Gimme yer honest opinions on it, 'kay? It's my first time makin' clothes fer someone else.

Hmph. You want my honest opinion? I am of the opinion that I would not be seen within ten feet of official league matters wearing a shirt of this style.
...But as casual wear, it is... serviceable. People seem to forget my penchant for bright colors- one need only look at my magenta coat to see it, and yet all I seem to receive are the most delicately pale items. Not that I don't like them, mind, it's just that an occasional change of pace can be refreshing. I certainly see myself wearing this with some frequency. In my off hours.
As for the rest... this was very thoughtful of you. Thank you. For all of it. I'll be sure to listen to your little tape as soon as I can.
