I can’t tell you how much this human motivates me in the gym. We are now 12 weeks after knee surgery and she has reminded me almost daily that she wants it more than anyone else. It was an amazing accomplishment for her to “get to the RED (55lb) plates”. Made an investment into my lifting career. Picked up my @inzeradvancedesigns forever belt today. Out of the box this thing screams quality. 3 solid pounds of leather and industrial grade hardware. 🏋🏻‍♂️ I can compete with 10mm or 13mm on May 23rd so I went with the 10. I don’t lift with a lot of “cool guy gear” however there are only 4 brand belts that I can use in a meet so it was time to throw down on a piece of equipment that will likely outlive me. I got so caught up in living my life I haven’t shared it much lately. For valentines my love took me to an amazing lunch. Than I took her to the butterfly garden for the night release of her favorite butterfly. (Not pictured) We finished up with dinner and a really great conversation with her parents. Aside from that it’s been work work work! Destra’s rehab is going really well, school is busy and fast, and I started a new part time job to help with the house renovations. Adjusting to my new weight has been a real mental struggle. The pound for pound ratio at 170lbs seems insurmountable at 182lbs it takes 365lbs to squat at a 2.0 ratio. I always post in the gym, progress pics and sometimes some fun days off. I don’t usually talk about the last bite struggle...
