ANOTHER THEORY
in fight with Glichy, Shapeshiftrer uses very specyfic colors
you probably reconize them but in case you dont.... let me show you
(dont count gray)these are colors of alternative team: red/shapeshifters greates enemy, blue/enemy ally, white/enemy ally, pink/stupid traitor, yellow/the one who convinced the enemy to fight, purple/enemy
they all were from skeld crew, they all fight/try too fight him, they were his enemies he knew them
BUT on to the theory: i think that alternative and orginal aren't diffrent timelines/universes i think they just happen after each other
alternative is first where shapeshifter gets his power isn't invinceble where he got too know these crew/imps... where he got to hate them
and orginal is second where he fights the little brat that reminds him of them. Why do you think he tried to team up with glichy? He was afraid his power won't be enouth this time(spoiler it wasn't) and when he understands his mistake he correct it as fast as he can.
and another prof, imagine that your kid turns into a killing machine that doesn't wan't anything else than too kill (crewmates think that of impostors) A normal person would just run of but what did yellow do?
