Two hopeless pure-evil lovermen
Fuck you
*Un-amongus your Shapeshifter*
Can you do shapeshifter next please?
-goofy goober. ss is definitely one of those characters that grew on me. i didn't hate them because they're evil, i hated them because really nothing much to them other than being a nuisance.
-but then i stopped and thought about it and, they're actually pretty cool. i mean winning in alternate and holding their own against the entire crew in og - they're kinda badass. and being a slimy manipulative fuck might just make them cooler. they are such a terrifying concept as a whole - i mean, look for how long they had tan fooled. i believe that their disguise is less of a quick trick and if they wanted to, they'd actually be pretty good at pretending to be someone else and playing the long game. and that's horrifying. just imagine your friend getting replaced with somebody and you not realizing until THEY want you to realize.
-i actually have a headcanon that they lied to red about getting infected. i mean, their true form isn't even "fortegreen" or "olive" and when they are ejected in og, it doesn't even show their name. i doubt they have one true form and i think what red saw originally upon first arriving to polus is just what they are - a clump of parasite with the ability to copy crewmates. in that way, i think they're similar to pink - a natural impostor, but they can actually change their appearance. i think they lied to red in order to gain sympathy. and it worked, because if you watch that scene, it made red hesitate and drop the hostility approach. and to be fair, that move makes a lot of sense/is really smart. if red was a natural, they had nothing to lose anyway by lying about their origin, but if red was infected, they get to invoke sympathy, making red relate to them subconsciously. so red naturally starts viewing them as another unfortunate soul such as themselves, rather than an enemy.
-i wonder if we'll see them again in alternate and what they're up to now that they got what they wanted. does victory satisfy them, or are they going to move on, forever looking for a way to satisfy their insatiable blood lust?
RODAMRIX
It's bean-slinging sunday
Bonus:
Lastly (for now) some group shot 'icons'! Not sure how many of these will translate well for icon usage but a lot of them look silly at this scale so I thought it was worth a shot! From @ rodamrix's animation!
