Hey uh. Hey Bucky. Kinda figured on the first pass of it that the Naruto post about aliens and blowing up the moon was a joke but now I’m. not sure. Is it. is it a joke. It’s not a joke is it.
uh, no roddy, its super duper not a joke actually. like. its weirder than that. Here’s my understanding of the end of naruto, based on what ive read on tumblr and through fics because i refuse to watch/read past the time my boy itachi died:
so naruto and sasuke are the reincarnation of the Lady Who Started Chakra’s two sons, who sealed her away into the moon??? which they did by doing Something I’m Not Sure to all of the tailed beats, which are like, sentient natural disasters/demigods/spirits i’m also not sure. Also, they were doing this because she went Power Crazy btw
and like, this ladys two sons kept getting reincarnated, and each reincarnation went Bad because the One Was A Douche (madara/sasuke/whoever else)
but this Creature Thing (zetsu???) wanted to Free His Lady which was obviously a bad thing except he convinced a bunch of people that it was either something different or a good thing in fact? I’m not really sure but anyway he gathered up a bunch of Real Bad Traitor Dudes to go around and collect the tailed beasts pokemon style, except that meant killing the people they were sealed inside, one of which was my boy naruto
something something something, i get lost at this point, I GUESS the ninetails gets yoinked outta naruto and they unseal Crazy Lady and sasuke and naruto gotta team up to put her down, which they do by sealing her in the moon and then destroying it. which i guess doesnt hurt the naruto world because magic or chakra or something whatever at this point its so weird i dont even bother breaking suspension of disbelief because i’m already stunned by the fuckin wild ridiculousness
and then of course naruto and sasuke fight AGAIN per usual and blow off their arms
