So, uh, hi?

First of all, Merry late Christmas! I hope you all had a great time! (I know I did!).

Secondly, I'm extremely sorry for not being on in so long. Some good stuff happened, some not so good stuff happened as well, and then I went on a trip with my classmates and I literally just arrived. I should have probably told you about it but I wasn't exactly feeling very well the week prior to the trip. I'm sorry for not telling anyone. I'm not sure if I'll start roleplaying again or not. It all depends on how I'm feeling and some other issues.

"Ellie, you have no idea what sort of trouble I went through to find you... but, I did."

Are these tears? she wondered, as she stared at person before her, her vision blurry from the urge to cry. Father. He was alive. He was here. He was back and this time, Eleanor didn’t plan on letting him go. Without thinking, she rushed over to him and wrapped her arms around him as tightly as she could, letting out a loud sob, feeling all the pain in her chest release.

What Eleanor didn’t realize was most of those horrible things she’d been told about were true. “Sounds about right.” He asked, tucking away a handful of shotgun shells into a pouch on his belt. “Do you want to know?”

Ever so slowly, Eleanor turned around to look at him, her eyes unblinking as they rested on his figure. "Do I?" Was the truth maybe too harsh to handle? Did she really want to know?

For a moment he was confused when she pulled away, frowning before he cursed his tongue. All that time unable to say anything of the things he’d been wanting to and now that he could he messed it up with two simple words. Reaching towards her, he caught her arm and pulled her back close against his chest, his own arms going back around her.

"Sorry- not there" he tried again, face twisted into frustration before he leaned forward a bit. Curled around her just a little and he wished he could still feel her they way he had been able before. "Sorry- died."

While it had been years and years for her the memory of that night was still sharp and fresh in his mind, the look of growing horror on her young face and her cry had been the voice ringing in his ears when he staggered up alive once more a decade later.

He pulled back, lifting a bandaged hand to gently push hair away from her face. “Just sorry.”

The feeling his arms wrapping around her brought her was one she would never get tired of. Her chest was almost bursting with joy and the warmth radiating from his body seemed to engulf her. She felt so inexplicably safe in his arms. Everything felt so right, and she clung onto him and his warmth like a little kid.

"I forgive you" she finally said, after minutes of silence. It hadn't occurred to her that he would be sorry for something he hadn't had a choice in, but she knew that even if there was nothing to forgive, he still needed a reassurance that no matter what had happened, she was still his daughter. "I'll always forgive you" Her eyes bore in his as she pronounced those words, eyes so unlike his own, and she leaned in to kiss his forehead, sealing that last promise.

Eventually, his curiosity got the better of him. “So… how much did Sofia say about me? Did she tell you about my history, my life on the surface?” He asked, looking over his shoulder at Eleanor, sorting through the contents of a crate at the same time.

Eleanor was a little hesitant at his question. What Sofia had said about Delta, were horrible, horrible things to try and convince her that he was actually a monster and was better off death. "She never mentioned anything about your past" she finally said, deciding to skip the nasty comments her mother had made. "She hardly ever talked about you"

It had become so hard to tell ADAM from blood, they tasted very similar—looked alike. Frank’s hands shook slightly as he stared down at the red staining his skin, his knees starting to hurt from sitting on the cold tile. Why would he be bleeding? If he hadn’t been stabbed, why the fuck would he be bleeding?!—he wouldn’t. But why was he in so much pain?

The conman jumped as a few tins toppled over in the far corner, unable to see much through the darkness. Had someone knocked them over? Or… was he just making it up all together?!—Fontaine could swear someone else was in there—there HAD to be someone in there!

"…—uh… hello..?"

It was the smell of blood what had caught Eleanor's attention at first, that metallic, disgusting smell she never seemed to get used to. But it was the soft whimpering that led her into the room. As distracted as she was, trying to pin point the source of the sound, she didn't see the tins and tripped on them, emitting a loud sound.

A hushed curse escaped her lips and she remained as quite as possible, wondering whether she should reveal herself to the stranger, or stand back and wait for them to forget she was there. It didn't seem as if whoever was in there was a splicer. He was spitting out meaningless sentences and there was no one near, for what she could hear. Splicers hardly ever were on their own.

Finally, she stepped out of her hiding place, her needle poised and ready just in case. "Um, hello"

☾- Are they prone to nightmares or dreamless sleep?

For years, Eleanor has suffered from constant nightmares, most of them revolving around Delta’s forced suicide on the night of New Year’s Eve in 1958 and the many hours of torture under the hand of Sofia Lamb. These nightmares continued even after she escaped Rapture and because of it, she usually sleeps for extremely short periods of time, her dreams hardly ever peaceful.

☼ - Something that/Someone who makes them happy.

In Rapture, the thing that made her happy were the many books she owned. Whether they were science fiction or psychology text books, it mattered very little. She spent hours and hours only reading, taking in every bit of information and getting lost in the depths of her imagination.

In the surface, she quite enjoys alcohol, of almost any type. As for people, pretty much any and everyone she met makes her happy.

☁ - If they’re caught out in the rain how do they react?

Eleanor loves rain, especially storms. She will usually open the nearest window and look outside for a long time or read while she hears the rain falling on the roof.
