└!!
Regal wandered around the compound, taking in the sights curiously. He didn’t generally explore Rodyle’s Ranch but the Cardinal hadn’t showed up for their meeting. He was often late, but Regal had been waiting for half an hour and that was longer than he had ever had to wait. So, instead of sitting pretty, he decided to make himself at home and find the Desian himself. He found himself in a hallway, mostly glass, and saw through the windows he was--
Underwater? Was that possible? He moved to the windows, fingers touching the glass as he stared out into the water. There was a sharp gasp that caught his attention. He turned and froze.
“A-Alicia?”
Sunshine and Daisies-- NOT

Alicia leaned out her bedroom door, checking up and down the quiet corridor to ensure it was empty. She slipped out, gently closing the door behind her before hurrying silently to the elevators. Once she reached the ground level it would no longer require her to sneak so much--the crowds would cover her-- but for now it would do well for her not to be questioned at the moment.
The doors opened and she was relieved none of the waiting crowd were coworkers. Slipping in the swell of tourists, she let them cover her as she made her way outside and into the park. On the beach she kept to the surf walking with the night swimmers between herself and the booths that were still open.
She got to the base of the bridge leading off the island and waited. A shadow moved in the water and she backed up instinctively even knowing what it was. A dragon broke the surface a moment later, fixing her with a curious, almost hungry look, before turning with a grunt and letting her climb aboard. When she was seated, the dragon moved back into the water. It stayed close to the surface now it had a rider, making sure Alicia was above water enough to breathe easily.
The ocean was frigid and by the time they reached the little island close to Altamira, Alicia could hardly feel her legs. She slid off the dragon-- lacking the grace she had possessed when climbing on. Shivering, she twisted her skirt, wringing some of the icy water out of the fabric. Then, looking around, she sighed to see she was here first. It wasn’t easy to sneak out so often, the least he could do was arrive first-- especially when his dragons were the ones sent to fetch her. She hated standing there alone with such a large carnivore. Eyeing it suspiciously, she took a few more steps away from the creature.
Symphonia is such a good game.

Botta had done enough infiltration of Desian bases that he managed them with relative ease. There was the potential risk of being caught but the more missions he completed, the more confident he felt. Of course, he should never get arrogant or there would be dire consequences. He was willing to give his own life to the Renegade cause, the only family he had left had dedicated themselves to the Desians, but he was also responsible for the lives of the soliders that accompanied. They all knew the dangers of their occupation but he would not allow them to needlessly sacrifice themselves.
He cursed mentally at himself, berating himself for growing careless, as the next hallway they turned down lead directly to where the Desian Cardinal was standing. Not a good sign. Botta gave a quick nod to the others to allow them to turn around and escape while he covered Rodyle.
"Oh, not tending to your pets? Did they bite your hand as you tried to pet them?" he taunted.

"Killing you is the only option."
Martel always tried not to take a fighting stance against someone she didn’t wish to hurt, but Colette’s memories of this man set her on edge. He was not one to be reasoned with… Especially not with her back into a corner like this.
"There is always a way to prevent bloodshed, but if you will not back down, know that I don’t plan on losing my life again any time soon." with that, she raised the chakaram she’d been training with. Muscle memory was on her side, as well. Thankfully.
