First Fight
Oneshot! (Request)
Pairing: Officer Inho x SensitiveGF! Reader
Summary: Inho has always been gentle with you, the calm and steady police officer who never raised his voice — not once. But when long nights and heavy cases begin wearing him down, he comes home frustrated and snaps at you for the first time.
Warnings: Raised voices / brief argument. Hurt feelings, crying. Mild angst but LOTS of comfort. Established relationship.
Author's Note: Another inho fic based on THIS request. As I've already written many fics of inho as frontman, so I decided to write this one as an officer.

For months, their relationship had been nothing but soft, steady warmth—Inho, the dedicated police officer with a quiet smile, and y/n, his gentle, sensitive girlfriend who adored every second spent with him.
Dates, late-night drives, shared takeout on the couch, weekend grocery run. Everything felt easy with him.
Safe. Loved.
But lately, things had shifted.
Inho had been coming home later and later—hours past midnight—dragging exhaustion behind him. And even on the rare evenings he did make it home, he was still buried in case files, phone calls, and paperwork.
Y/n understood he was busy, that his job demanded everything from him… but she also missed him.
Missed her Inho.
The one who used to look at her like she was the calm after every storm.
---
The apartment was quiet when Inho finally unlocked the door, exhaustion dragging at his shoulders. He had spent the entire day buried under reports, interviews, and a case that refused to make sense.
All he wanted was a shower, food, and silence.
But the moment he stepped inside, he saw y/n sitting on the couch—knees pulled to her chest, eyes tired, waiting.
Again.
Y/n looked up the second he entered.
“...You’re late again,” she whispered.
Inho dropped his keys a little harder than necessary. “I told you, I’m busy.”
“You’re always busy.” she said quietly. Not accusing, not angry—just hurt. “You barely come home before midnight anymore.”
He sighed, rubbing his forehead. “Y/N, please. I had a long day.”
“You always say that.” y/n murmured, her voice wobbling. “I just… I miss you, Inho.”
Something inside him snapped—wrong place, wrong time, wrong mood.
“Oh my God, Y/N,” he muttered sharply, “can you stop? Just this once? I don’t need a lecture the second I walk in.”
Y/n breath caught.
“I—I wasn’t lecturing,” she whispered.
“Well, it sounds like it.” he barked. “You think I want to work this much? You think I enjoy coming home to complaints every night?”
Her face fell—completely.
Her lips trembled, her eyes filled, and her shoulders curled in as if the words physically hit her.
“Inho…” y/n voice was so small. “I’m not complaining. I’m just… worried.”
But Inho was too far into his frustration.
“Yeah? Well right now, I need some peace. Not you crying about my schedule.”
That one did it.
Y/n breath stuttered as tears spilled over, her hands shaking as she stood. She didn’t yell. She didn’t argue. She simply backed away as if she was scared of how angry he sounded.
“I—I’m sorry” she choked, voice breaking. “I didn’t mean to upset you.”
Then she turned and hurried to the bedroom, shutting the door softly—but the soft was worse than a slam.
It meant she was hurt. Truly hurt.
Silence fell.
And then it hit him like a punch to the gut.
He had yelled.
At her.
His soft, gentle girl who never raised her voice, never demanded, never did anything except love him.
Inho dragged a hand over his face, the guilt crawling hot and sharp under his skin.
“Shit…”
After a moment of pacing, he went to the bedroom.
He knocked softly.
“Y/N… open the door.”
“No!” her voice cracked through the wood. “I want to be alone!”
The sound of her crying nearly made him flinch.
“Baby,” he said quietly, forehead resting against the door, “I shouldn’t have spoken to you like that.”
Silence except for her muffled sobs.
“I’m sorry,” he said again, voice low, sincere. “I took my work out on you. That wasn’t fair.”
Still nothing.
So he added—gently, desperately.
“Please let me fix it. I hate knowing I made you cry.”
After a moment, the door clicked open—but she didn’t look at him.
Y/n eyes were red, cheeks wet, lashes clumped with tears.
Inho’s chest tightened painfully.
“Oh, sweetheart…” He stepped inside slowly, as if she might run.
Y/n wrapped your arms around herself, head bowed. “You yelled at me,” she whispered, voice shaking. “You never yell…”
He cupped her face carefully, wiping tears with his thumbs. “I know. And I hate myself for it.”
More tears slipped down her cheeks. “I got scared…”
He pulled her into his chest immediately, arms wrapping around her, holding her tight but gentle.
Y/n clung to his shirt with trembling fingers.
“I would never hurt you,” he whispered into her hair.
“Not in anger, not in anything. I just—work swallowed me whole, and I dumped it on you. You didn’t deserve a single word I said.”
Y/n sniffled, face buried in his chest. “I just missed you…”
He kissed the top of her head. “I missed you too. Every second.”
Y/n breath quivered.
“I’m still mad” she mumbled weakly.
“You should be,” he said without protest. “But let me make it up to you.”
He lifted her easily and carried her to the bed, sitting down with her in his lap. His hands rubbed slow circles on her back as she curled into him like something fragile and precious.
“You can complain about my schedule anytime.” he murmured against her temple.
“You can tell me you miss me, you can tell me you need me… I want that. I need that.”
Y/n blinked up at him, eyes still glassy. “You mean it?”
He brushed his knuckles along her cheek.
“I’d die before I shut you out again.”
Slowly, she relaxed in his arms, melting into him, forehead pressed to his neck.
“I love you” y/n whispered shakily.
He hugged her tighter, voice warm and soft now.
“I love you more. And I promise—no more raising my voice. Not to you. Never again.”
Y/n sighed, finally safe again, and tucked herself under his chin—her favorite place.
Inho kissed her forehead once, twice, three times.
“Let’s go to bed, sweetheart,” he whispered. “I’m not leaving your side tonight.”
And he didn’t.
He held her until her tears stopped.
He kissed her hair until her breath evened.
He whispered apologies until she fell asleep warm and loved in his arms.
Their first fight hurt.
But the way he held her afterward?
It healed everything.
Prompt 20 - First Fight
@wolfstarmicrofic January 20, word count 320
“Hey, Remus, feeling better?” Sirius asked as he stomped into their dorm room to find his bag and, hopefully, a quick nap.
“Yeah, fine, thanks,” He replied stiffly. He hadn’t told them he’d gone to the hospital wing. If he was being honest, he didn’t think they’d notice.
“Funny thing though,” Sirius said causally, leaning back against his headboard, lacing his fingers behind his head, and his eyes scanned Remus’s body. “You weren’t in the hospital wing last night, I checked,” Sirius had a smugness about him that got Remus’s hackles up.
“What were you even doing down there?” He snarled. Merlin, he was tired. He wished he’d taken Madam Pomfrey up on her offer to sleep in one of her beds for a few hours. He’d be doing that next time.
Checking up on you, but like I said, you weren’t there,” Sirius’s eyes were blazing as they stared into Remus’s. Remus had had enough of being questioned. He was dog-tired, and his bones ached—another thing he should have accepted from Madam Pomfrey, a painkilling potion. “So, come on then, where were you?” Sirius poked further, leaning forward, desperate for an answer.
“For fuck's sake, Sirius, will you leave me alone!” Remus bellowed at him. He was breathing heavily, trying to calm down. Sirius flinched.
“I was only asking,” Sirius huffed.
“Yeah, well don’t” Remus spat back.
Remus had never shouted at any of them. He usually kept to himself, but right now, he felt frayed. “Fuck it,” He spat, grabbing his bag and leaving a stunned Sirius to it. He went back to the hospital wing, ignoring Madam Pomfrey’s concerned words as he walked over to the nearest bed and collapsed on it, burying his face in the soft pillow and falling asleep as Madam Pomfrey laid a blanket over him and put up the privacy curtains. He’d apologise to Sirius later. Right now, he needed sleep.

Day # 2
First fight
I love your baby!au, it's such a joy to read!!! Given how Logan and Oscar are like two peas in a pod, I'm interested in how their first ever fight/argument as young children would play out. I don't think neither Logan nor Oscar would be able to handle the understanding that the other is a bit irked at them very well - Williams/Mercedes and Ferrari/McClaren would be very invested in ensuring that the two are able to make amends.
AHHH! Thank you so much!
This ask had been sitting in my inbox for so long since it matched up with a fic I was writing. I finally finished it so now you can know exactly how their first fight plays out!
Thank you for the ask and sorry for the wait!🥰
