my words with friends user name is "roenn". let's play. 

let's start this off with the less fun and less important matches. wins 30, 31, and 32 came by forfeit. vicgar, despite us having a tie score, quit on me after i used one of my normal blocking words "ae." breanna, from victory five, decided to challenge me and it was just unlucky. i got two blanks and an s and used all seven tiles to hit a "seizing" and just kept the pressure on so tight that she understandably resigned. i don't think she's going to try again, unfortunately. manda resigned on me in what was turing out to be an exciting game. it's analogous to getting blue balls really. just, you know, it's for a game of words with friends.

now to the fun part. i've never beaten this girl erica who found my user name on the dating website okcupid.com. i gave myself one more chance to beat her after failing twice. i studied my last two games with her and i decided to go with the phone booth strategy. during our last matches, she confided with me that whilst playing the word "deformer," she was singing the song "informer" by 90's canadian hip hop artist snow. from then on, i jokingly call her miss nadian making her full name erica nadian which sort of sounds like canadian. there really isn't any word jokes you can make with erica the way you can with cody (pendant) or justin (bread, toxicated, time) or jenna (side, ration). anyway, with the phone booth strategy, i let her know that i was going to block her canadianess in so her people can't sneak into my country and steal my job... my job well done. that's funny on so many levels. heh. i also took note that she found me on a dating website. obviously she's madly in lust with me so i decided to flirt with her. i told her that i loeb her, i lisa loeb her (credit by the by to my good friend melissa). erica then started reciting lyrics from lisa loeb's "stay" and i knew i had her hooked. like a tour guide, i lead her on by letting her take control and the lead. i loaded the word "lowed" up after making sure the s's and blanks were either used or in my possession so she couldn't do to me what i was going to do to her. she playfully played "hah" and i imagined her doing a silly fake giggle to a genius joke i had just told that she probably didn't get. i then licked my lips and made my move, interlocking hands with her and applying my kiss of death. zero tiles remaining, the q conspicuously yet to be played, i turned "lowed" into a seven tile usage of "narrows/slowed" and won the game. yeah erica, that just happened, i like my pancakes with blue cheese.

wwf update: 29-4 (doodles revisited.)

oh doodles, i think you're chinese because you raise red flags with your gameplay. get this though, despite her using all seven of her tiles three times for bunting, returned, and policed, i was still able to find victory. this a three point distance between us. i suppose i can keep you around.

six games finished today. this may take awhile. as always, words with friends user name is 'roenn'.

game one was another victory over your spell, the second in two days. i was racing to beat him/her yesterday so i could make a joke about how i win everyday and twice on sundays against spell but i was eight minutes off.

game two was a win over some girl named karen. she's apparently pregnant and it was really hard for me not to say i broke her like water. i did though. i mean, i did 'broke her like water' but didn't actually say it. i said it now though. hm, broke her kind of sounds like broker. i think there's a joke in there somewhere. it's interesting to me that i beat a pregnant girl on the same day that this wwe woman wrestler kharma revealed today on television that she's legitimately pregnant and will be gone for a year.

game three was a win over this girl named cally. i was chatting with her and i noticed she'd say things like gosh, darn and friggin'. as a result, i decided to play the dirtiest words i could possibly use. i used 'deuce' which i don't think she'd really get as immature. i then played 'tit' and like, she just stopped talking and resigned. it was kind of funny actually. i have to find ways to keep this game interesting and that was one of them.

game four was a win against my beer pong partner david. i scored 584 on him which i think might be a record high since i've started counting. i should construct an average by now.

game five was actually a loss, my first against a tumblr opponent and also, my first loss against another guy. i kept trying to distance myself from flip (http://wilberttorres.tumblr.com/) but he kept hanging on slightly behind me. my last four letters worried me because three of them were vowels. i had to use l, i, a, and o to shut this game down but i couldn't. i had to settle for three out of four and it was my downfall. the 'o' i didn't use was used against me and just stares back at me while flip's "bid" made him win by exactly one point. 406-405. even though i lost, i loved it. that's what words with friends is all about.

the final game of the day was a win over my other tumblr friend, sam (http://kingsamantha.tumblr.com/). if you recall, myself and herself put on a wager that the loser would have to take a picture with a sign that stated they lost to the winner. i'm waiting for my picture sam! i might even make it my wallpaper or possibly even my hanukkah card!

wwf/wwf update: 23-3.

(sunday, may 29th, 2011)

i had a busy day today as i had to go wrestle in san jose in an eight man elimination tag. as luck would have it, i forgot to put a disc in my camera but fortunately, my cameraman was able to capture my match with his camera phone so now i wait. i was able to finish up some words with friends matches today so let's get to that. my head is kind of hurting so i'll spoil you now- i'm not going to be funny or interesting in this post.

i got two wins. the first one was over "your spell" and the second one was over "tunnel." both of these people didn't really talk to me but i assume they're tumblr related opponents. i had this weird feeling during both of these matches that they were toying with me but i started passing them up and eventually won. these victories aren't as fun unless these people have stories. maybe i should make some up sometime?

wwf update: 21-3. (friends with words with benefits and chinese players.)

two of my favourite opponents represent today's update. first, a win against my friend helen. i talked to her about speed games and she was down to have one. it's funny because i usually have these speed games with people and i end up never talking to them again after. it's like, a one off game. there's no breakfast in the morning. i won't call her in two days. i won't consider taking her to go see a katherine heigl movie. fortunately, me and helen were friends before the speed game so doing a speed game now is completely ok. we're like, friends with words with benefits.

now this loss i had next really bothered me. doodles is a good friend of mine and is somewhat competitive with me. it did take her 13 games to finally beat me but still, fun competition. this game though, she hit two bingos on me! bingos sounds weird. i'll go back to saying she used all seven of her tiles on me twice! normally that isn't a bad thing and the first one was believable. she got me with an "eductor." the second one is the one that makes me think she's chinese because she's raising a red flag here. her second seven tile blow was "oeillade." yeah, i had to look it up too! apparently it's some french word. i just don't think she came up with that herself. oh and yeah, i noticed i used the chinese line about a french word. i think she's totally cheating on me! i guess i just don't see the point in cheating. like, just break up with me and you can play words with whoever you want. er, i think i went a bit far there but yeah, i almost want to stop playing her. this especially considering our newest game has her hitting two bingos again. whatever. two thirds of my losses are now from doodles. she makes me want to shower after playing her.

add two more to the total wins. as always, my words with friends user name is "roenn" and i'm always game. heh. that "always game" line is stupid. i need to change it up.

win 19 came over this girl i met at a bowling alley, courtney (doll...). she saw me playing in between games and threw down the challenge and we've been playing ever since. this game, she opened up with the 7 tile "hangars" and i responded with the 7 tile "slotting." she was in control the majourity of the match but you stay in cruise control too long, you bomb, like speed 2 cruise control, the movie. i know, i regretted it as soon as i typed it. nobody knows what i'm talking about!

win 20 is an interesting story. anyone currently playing knows about the lady gaga word of the day contest. today's word was "dance." my opponent, cousin raquel (rock...), used all seven of her tiles to spell "healers" and took a good early lead. the dilemma came up- i have the letters to play "dance" but i'd be passing up the opportunity to take the now available triple word score. i stared at my forearm and decided that it was a wrist i'm willing to take. heh.

the problem is though, nothing came up. no form for me to fill out. no way to tell lady gaga that i totally did it. i stared at my forearm and realized that it was all in vein. heh. i make forearm jokes now but i was really freaking out. i don't want to lose again! i was behind the entire game, seven tiles left, and i hit it. all seven tiles to spell "strander" which i used as a blackjack to hit her over the head with to win by a underhanded 21 points.
