❤︎ He wants to protect you from this world until his last and dying breath even if it’s the last thing he does. Rog takes no child’s play when it comes to your safety and cracks down tough on your well-being.
❤︎ It’s crazy enough that his statue is terrifying so no one would play crazy and attempt any foolish games with his lover. Coupled with swinging a hammer and that’s all the more terrifying for someone to cast all thoughts aside.
❤︎ His size and bored facial expression already make him appear intimidating and is intensified when he’s angered. As a calm person, Rog doesn’t like to resort to violence or become easily angered given his background.
❤︎ He rather has a stare-down with the person while all the other Lords are on standby because they have zero clue about what he’s going to do. At the same time, they’re all calculating how to pull Rog off the ellon should a fight break out.
❤︎ He’s seen enough cruelty to the world and some people just aren’t worth fighting or giving any attention to. The most Rog would do is make some comment about removing the individual and his men would whisk in to drag the person out.
❤︎ The only time you would witness Rog in a heated, venomous state is should your life be severely threatened or you were awfully injured. This is when Rog becomes enraged, though he attempts to keep his temper beneath the surface. Everyone can see the cracks as time passes.
❤︎ His muscles are bulging and fighting to rip through his clothes as his statue suddenly increases at the sudden urge to defend and protect you. Easily towering over the individual, Rog doesn’t need to threaten or speak, all he needs to do is stare them down.
❤︎ Because of his massive size, he easily towers over the perpetrator and makes them shrink in fear. Any moment Rog could snatch and toss them out the window.
❤︎ He has no fear in the safety of Gondolin and doesn’t see the need for you to be escorted by guards everywhere you went, he refuses to choke your comfort.
❤︎ Rog firmly believes that Gondolin is perfectly safe so he also sees no need in teaching you how to fight and wield a weapon, but should you insist on learning, he’ll oblige. He isn’t the type to go about teaching you only defensive moves and such, Rog will teach you how to actually fight.
❤︎ He doesn’t fret the same way that others do whenever you gain injury to yourself, but he does scold you…gently while shuffling around to care for you. A bit of a mother hen when it comes to your injuries, worse when they’re gained by you.
❤︎ Makes comments about how you strangely walk on your eyes because you’ve caused more injuries to yourself than another person has attempted to. “My darling, you’re a walking hazard to yourself!”
