Premiere: Bushi and Rogerthomas Come Together in 'Coffin'
Premiere: Bushi and Rogerthomas Come Together in 'Coffin'
‘Coffin’ is the first collaboration between Bushi (Kersey Williams) and Rogerthomas (Roger Lanfranchi). Both artists hail from St. Petersburg, FL and after enjoying working with each other so much on this single they are now currently working on a full album. Bushi’s voice is a perfect mixture between sweet and sultry and can usually be found paired with ukulele strums and Casio tones. Meanwhile, Rogerthomas has a foundation in electronic music production with influence from styles ranging from Hip Hop, RnB, Soul, Folk, Jazz and even Indian Classical Music.
Today we witness the two in ‘coffin’. The track is very minimalistic in production featuring ukulele, crisp snaps, and of course Bushi’s voice that carries the listener effortlessly through the track which gets a little twist at the end. If this is the start of what is to come, then we can’t wait to see what’s next.
