'Lonely' By Richard Judge His Most Introverted Release Yet

‘Lonely’ is Richard Judges latest release – led by the vocals and have a clear electronic core to it. Although based in London, Judge travels all over the world, including Germany, which is home to the Munich Heart Club Residency. He DJs and sings at all of his shows, and even wrote an autobiography detailing his life on the road. When asked about what inspired ‘Lonely’, Judge had this to say, ‘Lonely is about my first experiences of a life on the move. City to city, show to show. The mega ups and the inevitable downs, meeting someone but knowing I’d be gone the next day. I wrote it in Berlin off the back of a tour. I like the way it has moments of melancholy beauty, but still bangs in a club.’

It’s a song sure to get the club hoppin, but still also tug on your emotions when already susceptible to it.

Last week was Women’s Day, so who better than to feature than LEVV? ‘Hands On Me’ is a story about Audrey’s struggle growing up where she had a man much older than her continuously sexually assault her…and the confusion that came with it. With beautiful pads, an uplifting beat, and Audrey’s silky smooth voice, she tells her story powerfully and in doing so, shows her triumph in a rather dark situation. She is an example of grace and freedom, and by talking about her situation she hopes that other people won’t have to say #MeToo, or that if they have, they know they are not alone, and that we are all in this together.

Next we have the Italian trio platonickdrive which I have really come to like. Their sound to me is something like modern nostalgia…if that even makes sense. It has an old soul, yet has a modern touch to it to make it something truly unique. Their tracks give a blissful ambiance that fills the room with atmospheric sounds, ringing guitars, and soft vocals, to give you the headspace to think and feel.

Hip-Hop artist and emcee, AyyeMoe brings us his first single “Switch Teams” which will be released on Friday, March 2. “Switch Teams” was produced by Kidd Slopes & CashMoneyAP.

AyyeMoe was raised in Northeast, Washington DC. AyyeMoe played four years of college basketball and one season professionally. However, after his lone pro season, he returned home to Washington DC and decided that he wanted to chase his true passion. Music.

“Last thing I can’t forget is to thank my mom, dad, my three brothers, and two producers who really pushed me over the top. Tae Legend really got me started when I had no money. He always found a way to give me some studio time. Lastly, DJ Skooly down at Sound King Studio gave me some great advice to really help me focus on making better music and really getting my name heard. With the release of “Switch Teams,” AyyeMoe is ready to make his mark on the music scene.
