Romancing Solas take two

I started a Solas romance playthrough towards the end of last year--the romance I swore I would never do, because "ew, egghead". But all sorts of people kept insisting it's one of the best romances, and well, the egghead won me over somewhat in Veilguard. (What can I say, I have a thing for gods of mischief and lies). Due to technical difficulties, I restarted the game on PC last week. So far... sold on the Solas romance. Yep. Been converted. Damnit. Why? WHY? I'm a Cullen girl! This isn't right! But okay. I'm so sold now that eventually, I will even write a fanfic. Maybe. Possibly. Probably. Might have already started. Oops.

This section of the fight with Corypheus, where he pops off about the vallaslin? As soon as he said "look at you, wearing slave markings on your face with such pride," I was completely furious.

You bet Lavellan's proud of them, you ass! If she wasn't going to be ashamed of them for Solas, she certainly isn't going to be ashamed of them for you!

(Also, that was Solas popping into stealth right there on the stairs. I always give him the Ring of Doubt that you can pick up in the shrine to Sylaise on the Dirth. But it was particularly funny under the circumstance, because I bet he wanted to crawl under a rock about that taunt.)

Such a bad move on his part. My Lavellan was immediately thinking of Crestwood, and had a lot of pent up aggression about it, and he just made it worse for himself.
