Rogue Plays: HeartGold!

One chapter closes and another opens! It's time for HeartGold!

Unlike the first game, my boyfriend's knowledge on this one is significantly shallow, so we're going in (mostly) blind, baby!

We already had some tech issues where I got about an hour in, then when I saved and came back the next day, the game would not stop bugging out. It lagged horribly and acted like the game was at half speed.

Turns out, the software we were using glitches if you use save states!(why tho) So, I started fresh and spedran through to Mr. Pokemon's cottage again, much to my dismay.

My starter for this run will be Bean the Cyndaquil! I love him already.

I played finished Pokemon Fire Red for the first time ever recently!

I've never actually played any Pokemon games older than White 2 (which at the time, younger me didn't realise it was a sequal, not an enhanced version) and my knowledge of Pokemon is actually quite subpar, so I've decided that, with the help from my boyfriend, I'm gonna play through the series!
