Remember the roguelike that I wanted to finish within 100hrs? I gave up 😂. Going ahead and building a full game with this concept.
Here I have playable levels with 2 types of enemy, loots dropping, using items, etc.

Progress at 15hrs of #gamedev time. Basic enemy movements, turn-based system.
A new variant of the old rogue-like game idea. My plan is to finish this game within 100hrs. Here’s a video cap at 9hrs.
More on the game concept later.
WITT prototype - mac osx
And here it is, the roguelike game prototype. Check out http://games.imakegam.es/witt/demo/ for instructions.
Codename: #roguelikeforeveryone
Started off as an idea for LD. A roguelike game in the TV when u can switch between channels(worlds) bring your character around together with all the items from that channel. Mix and match items from different worlds and craft, yep.
Did not finish that game, and it evolved into a hardcore turn based roguelike on mobile. I build a working prototype with 3 levels. The takeaway is, collecting items is nice, crafting is promising, turn based battle takes a while to get used to, but it’s cool once you picked it up.
And the next step is, getting it more casual, more mobile game like. The goal right now is to make something as niche as turn based roguelike and make it accessible to most people.
Hence the codename: #RoguelikeForEveryone
Here’s the link to that prototype: http://games.imakegam.es/witt/demo/ Seems like chrome doesn’t allow unity web player anymore, and I’m too lazy to bring up the old project and make another build.
Finally done with the misc stuff for Casual Connect Asia submission. Game is playable, art is horrible(I want to be better at this!).
Check through and submit first thing tomorrow.
On youtube, tumblr’s audio is lagging.
And now, with sound.
