I posted back in July about the supplements I am currently using and that has changed slightly, so I wanted to update. I am still taking the BCAA's and liquid L-Carnitine, but I recently added the Mytrition Women's Sport Pack into my daily routine as well. Here's what's in that daily vitamin packet:
Multivitamins provide broad-spectrum support for your healthy, active lifestyle. They help fill in gaps in nutrition and support total-body wellness. Provides a full daily serving or more of many essential vitamins and minerals.
Omega-3 Fish Oil provides high-levels of EPA (600mg) and DHA (240mg) to promote brain, eye and cardiovascular health.
Green Tea Extract to promote a healthy metabolism and provide antioxidant support.
L-Carnitine 500 mg to promote fat metabolism and cardiovascular health.
L-Arginine 500 mg to support Nitric Oxide production.
L-Glutamine 500 mg to support post workout recovery.
Vitamin D3 2000 IU to support bone and immune health.
So far I like this convenient packet. It travels well and has a lot of health benefits. Each box lasts 1 month and they are $39.99 at your local Vitamin Shoppe.
I have also started taking Tonalin CLA again. I take 1 pill before each meal, 3 times a day. I have read a lot of people noticing changes while using CLA, but I never really have. I used to take it a while ago, but stopped. I recently started again because I realized I had a bunch in stock from when I took it previously. If I don't notice any changes this round, I will probably give up on it. Maybe it just works better for some people than others (and I am not one of them!) It does have health benefits though, and said to reduce body fat and maintain lean body mass.
Aside from those additions, I still maintain my protein intake to 1-1.5 grams per pound I weigh and added either Vega Sugar Free energizer or Gamma Labs PTF as a pre-workout for that extra spike of energy. My protein powder of choice is Isopure 0 carb. I mix it up with different flavors of 100 calorie Greek yogurt and sometimes soy milk for added protein.
