In memory of my most beloved cat, Roksi, who left us today. I'm happy you don't have to suffer anymore, but I will miss you forever.

I wish I could spend some more time with her, because she was my happiness, but I know that no one lives forever. Though I'm very grateful I had a chance to have such carrying, loyal, loving and smart cat as her. She was always near me, following me everywhere, sleeping on my head at night, comforting me when I cried. Always with me, almost through my entire life and I will never forget her.

Roksi needs a SURGERY

Roksi is my 17yo cat and my most beloved one. She was with me almost through my entire life. Beginning from my first years of primary school to this days. She’s very calm, caring and smart and she's always with me. Cheering me up when I’m sad and crying, sleeping with me in one bed and following me almost like a dog to just sit next to me. She’s always been my friend and my stress reliever. Unfortunately, now she needs a surgery.

I love her so much and that’s why I’m very worried when it turned out she’s sick. She has some problem with her nose, like there’s something in there that causes her breathing problems. At first we all thought it’s just a cold, but after getting an antibiotic, the problem didn’t really disappear. She was getting many kinds of different antibiotics and steroids, as we still hoped that it can be healed without an operation, but even if the situation was getting better after an injection, it always came back. So together with my mom and our vet we decided that there is no use for continuing such therapy and we should go for something that was meant to be a last resort. For her own good.

The surgery itself isn’t something difficult, but the anaesthesia at her age can be a problem. Aside from her breathing problems, she’s not in a bad shape in general, but I’m very concerned that the thing in her nose might not be just an easy to remove polyp, but a cancer or that she may not wake up. That’s why I’d like to go also for a safer inhalation anaesthesia, even if it would cost much more...
