But he did kind of have a point, even if Kris didn’t want to hear it. “Coping mechanisms.” They replied, giving a shrug that radiated ‘what can ya do’ energy, or at least, they hoped it did.      [🌟; тнє ρяιи¢єℓу мαуfℓσωєя]: Several days had passed since the Chaos King’s imprisonment, it seemed like the kingdom was under the Lancer’s management. And while the caprine darkner showed concern as to how the young prince will be able to fulfill royal duties at such a young age, he definitely believed that Rouxls will be able to guide him. And with the lightner pair back in their own world, Ralsei fled back to his own kingdom in solitude to wait for their return.

     🌟 || Peculiarly, he could hear footsteps echoing outside the castle, with a firm belief that it could be the lightners, he bounds cheerfully outside, only to be greeted by an unfamiliar face. The prince of the dark responds with a bewildered expression, first unable to respond, but he forces a strained smile to greet the human.

“Ah,” Lore said. He wasn’t sure how to properly respond to either of those projects. There were words stuck in his throat. “Isn’t that-” No, he won’t say a word about it. There was already a decent atmosphere, and ruining that was not something he was willing to do. “Those… are two different projects.” Couldn’t say he preferred either of them though.

“I wouldn’t say it’s impossible,” even if he wanted to say otherwise. A lot of things had proved him wrong multiple times. “They’ll like you.” Probably.

“Paradise…?” Lore tentatively sounded each syllable. What a name. Examining the action done by the other, he tried to memorize the way he adjusted the dial. That would be useful, but not when he didn’t know anything about his best friend’s whereabouts. He reached out for the pen. “Wait, so I’ll just pop into ‘Paradise’, and then what?” Ask for the supposed ‘corrupter’?

      The Boss was a bit curious on what the other wanted to say. But at the same time, he had a feeling it’d be sort of negative-ish. He didn’t really feel like getting into an argument and losing his cool, so he didn’t ask anything of what was on the other’s mind.

     “I know it’s not impossible. I know some where, out there, there’s a world of cats. But my world as it is has many cats!” the monster boasts.

     Blixer offered the pen to him. “It’s set location is in my castle. You’ll go through the portal and end up there in the food room. Someone will probably see you and notify me that you have come. Or I’ll be there already.”

Quite surprisingly (or perhaps not) Crash gets envious of quite a few things, most are harmless however; such as food. Or that time he saw someone with very nice shoes and wouldn’t stop complaining for a day.

Not like he’s envious of others intellegence though, why would he be? it isn’t like being surrounded by eloquent and well spoken people has left an effect of insecurity on the bandicoot... did he mention those were very nice shoes?

( To be honest with you?  To die.  This gets more complicated the closer you get to Mother 3, but in general, I’d say if Porky would ask for any wish in this world, it’d probably be for “things to go back to the way they were”... by which he means that he so badly wants to be mortal again, but can’t admit that he wants to die.

There was a long stretch of time where Porky was pretty suicidal after becoming immortal.  He had a really low point in his life that lasted for quite a long time compared to maybe how other people might experience depression... considering he has infinite time to be depressed, lmao?

Porky recovered from that, eventually, but only when he developed a “fuck it all, burn it to the ground” type of mentality that worsened and worsened till he got yeeted to the Nowhere Islands by powers that be permanently.  Even so, when he’s trapped in that capsule, he believes he won, but if he thinks about himself too long, he realizes once again how badly he wants to die.

But yeehaw he doubly can’t because he’s immortal and trapped in an inescapable indestructible hamster ball for all of eternity!  Isn’t that such an existential nightmare?  I find death terrifying, but immortality, too.  But I digress.

If only things could go back to the way they were-- maybe minus his parents, but being mortal and being actually alive and around people.  But Porky’s mental and emotional state is so violently warped that I cannot possibly imagine how he’d cope if he was given that chance. )

Jeff would blink as he stared at the newcomer with surprise and wonderment in his eyes. he had originally intended for the machine that he managed to fix to only open rifts to other timelines. but it opened one to a entirely new world.
