I have like, intense trust issues with tumblr rp at this point lol.

I swear, I find a plot that I’m really vibing with and then the server just vanishes. Like? Come on bro, just tell me you don’t like it, damn.

I have a solid maybe three threads still going strong because of communication. It sucks, because I love writing, but it makes it hard to even want to agree to new threads at this point.

I think my roleplay days except with maybe 3 people is over. Im so tired of being left on read and constantly ignored/serial ghosted. Its just not worth it anymore to try or talk to anyone new. I officially give up.

I hate these, I call them teeth-pulling RPers, but it's just when someone connects to a prompt and they're so wooden and you have to pry any opinions out of them at all. You've got a nice idea going, they connect and respond with just, 'hey :)' and then you ask what they wanna do and they respond with just paraphrasing your prompt, so you're more specific, and every single answer you get you have to pose to them instead of them actively offering their opinion. Gives me no confidence for how the RP is going to go past this point.

//so level with me here: if your RP blogs are side blogs and RPers these days have grown so isolationist they don’t take a hint when someone reblogging memes/posts, nor do they answer DMs, how they hell are you supposed to alert them that you’re a fellow writer who wants to interact?

Honestly a lot of these new rules y’all developed are extremely backwards😐and you’re probably not suited to a platform like tumblr if you’re gonna be like that. Writing is supposed to be fun, not some kind of…exclusionary Fight Club manifesto.
