as an f1 fan just getting into imsa/wec, the 24 hours of daytona is INSANE. what do you mean to tell me you're going to:

put 4 different types of cars on the SAME TRACK at the SAME TIME

let f1 wdcs race against semi-amateurs??

have f1 driver romain grosjean LOSE to said semi-amateurs

race for 24 hours straight

in blinding fog

no race stops

sometimes a car lights on fire and you just go 'eh, it's out now' and send the car back on track?????

and the whole time the commentary is just some random irish guy telling rambling stories from 25 years ago
