I wanted to draw them in the Mega Man cartoon style from the 90s, though Bass didn't get to appear there before it was cancelled. I had to adapt him to the cartoon's style, not sure I got 100% successful, but I'm happy with the result. :) I thought the cartoon itself was pretty goofy, but funny, kinda like Transformers G1 lol.

Aye, this ship again. I love them. ❤️ And helmless Bass was inspired by Hitoshi Ariga's sketch, though I decided to add the blond part because the idea of him having blond hair sounds cool too, like a reference to Zero.

Upcoming Theme Weeks: Ships
In addition to randomly reblogging ship art, I'm going to do theme weeks during BassBlues week, BassRock week, and pick weeks to feature other assorted small ships like Roll, or Serenade for Battle Network.
For those who don't want to see a particular ship on their dash, everything overtly romantic gets tagged with 'shippy' and the specific ship (ie: 'bassrock', 'bassblues', 'rollass'), or else bass/name (ie: 'forte/serenade', 'bass/jewel man'). I'll still post regular content alongside the shippy content so you can block those tags and still get uninterrupted BASS. EVERY. DAY.
The first BassRock week ever is around the corner: 5/12 - 5/19.
This year the official BassBlues week was postponed indefinitely and I missed the unofficial one. (Next year it will coincide with the official ship week.) I'll be running a BassBlues theme week from: 6/15 - 6/22.
Rollass theme week will run: 7/13 - 7/20
Assorted ships (Jewel Man, Elec Man, etc) and Forte/Serenade will get a theme week in the future, dates to be determined.
