Farther down the page, a customer gives their own recipe for Rolled Biscuits as follows:
INGREDIENTS
1 and ½ cups Kodiak Cakes FlapJack and Waffle mix
¼ All purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
4-6 tablespoons cold butter or shortening (I grate it)
¾ cups cold milk
Salt to taste (I used a tablespoon of season salt)
Large cookie sheet
METHOD
• Preheat oven to 450℉
• Dust a clean dry surface with all purpose flour
• Sift the baking powder, salt, Kodiak Cake mix and flour together.
• Cut in the butter or shortening into the flour till mixture grainy. I grated the butter in with a cheese grater which makes it easier to cut in. (You can use a food processor if you like, just don’t over mix otherwise it heats up the butter or shortening and makes everything mushy.)
• Pour in the milk and mix with either dough mixer, spoon, or hands till you get a nice cold ball of dough.
• Place the dough on the floured surface and roll or smash it out till it is ½ an inch thick. Sprinkle flour so the dough does not stick to surfaces or rolling pin.
• Use a biscuit cutter and place the cut dough on the cookie sheet 2 fingers apart.
• Bake for 15-18 minutes or till golden brown around the edges.
