Day 2 of this countdown to Christmas 2017, and here's one of the albums the kids and I have been playing during rides. From a critical standpoint, many consider this album to be one of the stronger jazz albums in history. In fact, when the Peanuts Christmas special aired, it was the first exposure many viewers had to jazz music, which in itself is the only genre that can trace its roots back to American soil. While the kids aren't necessarily thrilled about its "slow pace" and instrumentation, this album is perfect for introspection and getting closer to all that which is beautiful about Christmas.
