He didn’t like it when people got the drop on him, particularly splicers. In general, he did his best to keep them as far away as possible, maximizing the security around Hephaestus. This one had gotten through, however. He could smell the ADAM when the blindfold slipped over his eyes—- a hard kind of electric scent, that sent a shiver down to his core. He flinched as the blindfold was pulled tight, fingers creeping up to tug uselessly at the edges of it. He was a fit man, but not one used to a fight, and he had a deepseated dread of the spliced up fiends that now ravaged his once beautiful city. No sudden moves, he thought rationally, determined to keep calm. This would be a very stupid way to die. "What do you want?” He said carefully, breathing deeply as he fought against getting up from the desk.
