Days passed into weeks ,

Men were loosing hope everyday .

What do the sons of Aeneas seek ?

The patricians mutter in dismay .

Romulus answers , " A place for ours to keep " .

A place Jupiter shall convey .

The men are torn , they need sleep .

Reluctantly they walk the pathway .

They know not what lies in wait

All that was theirs was gone

The hope of revenge lets them accelerate

The sons of Aeneas were being counted upon .

They were here to liberate ,

To civilise the barbarians foregone .
