9:05.672 -Taken back in 2016 while covering Pikes Peak. Romain Dumas piloted this Norma MXX RD Limited Race Car up the mountain winning 1st place and the overall win that year. But he was already aiming for the outright record at the time. Unfortunately for him, having succumbed to broken spark plugs during the start of his run, he still managed to complete that run with only the single digit 9. Finally fast forward to today, with a 7:57.148 he finally got the record with the VW I.D.
