Weird question, so, there is libido which is sex drive, is there like a romantic libido? example from my life: I am not sexually attracted to honestly no gender or person, I find the thoughts of sex and such tightening my stomach and it is repulsive (adoption and foster are totes in my future!!) but like I will pass a boy (I thought I was hetero-romantic) but sometimes girls, and i imagine holding hands, or cuddling, and I want it so hard! is it a thing? is this normal?? AHHH life is hard!
Editing to add that this is definitely normal! I believe what you are describing is romantic attraction. Seeing somebody and imaging yourself cuddling, kissing, holding their hand sounds like romantic attraction to me as the attraction is directed to the person. That being said, I definitely believe that there is a romance drive that makes us want to pursue romantic relationships. This, like I believe sex drive works, would not be directed at a single person, but it’s just a feeling you get where you are craving closeness to someone else and a desire to be in a relationship, however that is defined for you (this gets fuzzy for me when you also start thinking about platonic attraction, too). That’s my two cents at least! What do others think?
